π BUCKBULLY WAS COOKING π₯
Props Hit, Underdogs Barked & Monday Night Nearly Went Perfect
Week 4 is officially in the books, so it’s time to grab the red pen and grade the BuckBully NFL board.
And this one was fun.
We attacked the slate with moneylines, spreads, alternate totals, rushing and receiving milestones, touchdowns and a few aggressive ladders. Our original Week 4 board included everything from Ravens ML and Bears -3.5 to Derrick Henry, Puka Nacua, Bijan Robinson, Drake London and Chris Olave props.
π BUCKBULLY WEEK 4 FINAL:
38-9 | 80.9% HIT RATE | GRADE: A- π₯
Not perfectβbut we’ll happily take 38 winners.
And Monday Night Football? We’ll get to that. π
π° SIDES: THE DOGS HAD SOME BITE
Our team picks finished 6-2, and a couple underdogs didn’t just coverβthey won outright.
β
Ravens ML
β Bills ML
β
Bears -3.5
β
Bears ML
β Bengals ML
β
Cowboys +3
β
Rams +3
β
Packers ML
Record: 6-2 | 75%
Chicago handled business against the Jets 23-12, Dallas beat Houston 34-30, and the Rams turned our +3 cushion into an outright 24-20 victory over Philadelphia.
Green Bay also survived Tampa Bay 17-14.
The two punches?
New England stunned Buffalo 29-26, while Jacksonville knocked off Cincinnati 22-17.
We’ll take six out of eight.
π» BEAR DOWN! DOUBLE CASH π΅
We had two ways to attack Chicago:
π₯ Bears ML β CASH
π₯ Bears -3.5 β CASH
Final score:
BEARS 23 β JETS 12
That’s not sweating out a 3Β½-point spread.
That’s putting it to bed.
And our alternate Under 47.5 cashed too.
Bears/Jets Card: 3-0 π§Ή
Now THAT’S how Chicago football is supposed to treat us.
π¬ BUFFALO BURNED US… BUT NOT COMPLETELY
Bills ML was one of our stronger positionsβand New England ruined the party with a 29-26 upset.
β Bills ML
But here’s where betting the matchup instead of only the winner helped save the board:
β
Josh Allen 1+ passing TD
β
James Cook 50+ rushing yards
β
Hunter Henry 30+ receiving yards
So Buffalo lost the game…
But our props went 3-0.
We’ll call that damage control. π
π KING HENRY DID KING HENRY THINGS
Our Baltimore angle couldn’t have gone much better.
β
Ravens ML
β
Derrick Henry 60+ rushing
β
Derrick Henry Anytime TD
SWEEP: 3-0 π§Ή
This is exactly the type of correlated group we like.
If Baltimore controls the game, Henry gets opportunities.
If Henry gets opportunities, the rushing yards and touchdown become live.
Sometimes football doesn’t need to be complicated.
π΅βπ« BURROW WENT CRAZY… AND CINCY STILL LOST
This might have been the weirdest result on the board.
Joe Burrow went OFF through the air.
π₯ 428 passing yards
So naturally:
β Burrow 250+ passing β EASY CASH
But…
β Bengals ML
β Burrow 2+ passing TDs
β Chase Brown 40+ rushing
Burrow threw for over 400 yards and Cincinnati still lost 22-17.
Football, ladies and gentlemen.
This is exactly why BuckBully likes mixing player milestones with game picks instead of tying everything to one outcome.
π PUKA WAS FREE MONEY
We only needed:
Puka Nacua β 4+ receptions
He gave us:
9 CATCHES | 125 YARDS
π Thanks, Puka.
β 4+ receptions β CASH
Unfortunately, the Jalen Hurts side didn’t cooperate.
β Hurts 30+ rushing β 18 yards
β Hurts Anytime TD
But our Rams +3?
π₯ CASHED WITH AN OUTRIGHT WIN.
π§ PACKERS CARD = BROOMS OUT π§Ή
This was one of our cleanest groups of Sunday.
β
Packers ML
β
Packers/Buccaneers Under 40.5
β
Bucky Irving 40+ rushing
β
Tucker Kraft 3+ receptions
4 PICKS. 4 WINS.
Green Bay won 17-14, which also gave us a beautiful Under.
No drama.
No calculator.
Just cash the tickets.
π THEN MONDAY NIGHT HAPPENED…
This is where Week 4 went from good to:
WHAT IN THE WORLD?! π€―π₯
Our Falcons-Saints board was loaded with player milestones.
Bijan Robinson.
Drake London.
Chris Olave.
Kyle Pitts.
Tyler Shough.
And we didn’t just pick one number on several of themβwe climbed the ladder.
Our original sheet included Bijan at 60+, 70+, 80+ and 100+ rushing; Olave at 60+, 70+ and 100+ receiving; London at multiple receiving levels; and Shough from 200+ all the way to 275+ passing.
Then Atlanta and New Orleans gave us the game we were hoping for.
π BIJAN ROBINSON: ALL ABOARD!
We kept raising the number.
Bijan 60+ rushing?
β
70+?
β
80+?
β
Okay…
100+?!
β β β
Bijan finished with:
145 RUSHING YARDS + 2 TDs π€―
And yes…
π₯ Bijan Anytime TD β CASH
BIJAN LADDER: SWEPT. π§Ή
Sometimes we climb the ladder and fall off.
This time we climbed it all the way to the roof. π
βοΈ DRAKE LONDON KEPT FLYING
Our London board:
β
40+ receiving
β
50+ receiving
β
60+ receiving
β
Over 78.5 receiving
London finished with:
5 REC | 96 YARDS
That’s a 4-0 London sweep.
Another broom. π§Ή
π― CHRIS OLAVE SAID KEEP RAISING IT
Olave started at 60+.
Then 70+.
Then we got greedy.
100+ receiving yards.
Result?
π₯ 116 YARDS
So…
β
60+
β
70+
β
100+
3-0.
That’s the good kind of greed. π
π° TYLER SHOUGH ALMOST GAVE US EVERYTHING
This was the wild ladder.
Our board had:
β
200+ passing
β
225+ passing
β
Over 254.5 passing
β
275+ passing
β
1+ passing TD
β 2+ passing TDs
Shough finished with:
286 PASSING YARDS | 1 TD
Five winners.
One loser.
And that one touchdown kept us from something ridiculous…
π€― MONDAY NIGHT FINAL: 18-1
Read that again.
18 WINS. ONE LOSS.
94.7% HIT RATE
The lone party crasher:
β Tyler Shough 2+ passing TDs
He threw one.
ONE MORE TD and this portion of the card could have been perfect.
Pain. π
But we’re not complaining about 18-1.
π BUCKBULLY WEEK 4 REPORT CARD
| Category | Record | Hit Rate | Grade |
|---|---|---|---|
| π Team Sides | 6-2 | 75% | B+ |
| π― Game Totals | 2-0 | 100% | A+ |
| π° Player Props | 30-7 | 81.1% | A- |
| π MNF Board | 18-1 | 94.7% | A+ |
| π₯ OVERALL | 38-9 | 80.9% | A- |
π§ WHAT DID WEEK 4 TEACH US?
The biggest takeaway wasn’t simply the 80.9% hit rate.
It was how the BuckBully board won.
Buffalo lostβbut several of our player props still cashed.
Cincinnati lostβbut Burrow still smashed his passing-yard target.
New Orleans got blown outβbut the game script helped Shough pile up passing yards and Olave clear 100 receiving yards.
That’s why we’re not interested in simply asking:
“Who’s going to win?”
We’re asking:
How is this game most likely to be played?
Who’s getting the touches?
Who’s getting the targets?
What happens if a team gets ahead?
What happens if the other team has to play from behind?
That’s where the fun starts.
π FINAL GRADE: A-
38-9. 80.9%.
We had some ugly misses.
We had some easy cashes.
We had a few sweeps.
We had underdogs win outright.
And then Monday night delivered an absolutely ridiculous 18-1 finish.
The goal isn’t to pretend every week is going to look like this.
The goal is to figure out why the best picks worked and carry those matchup advantages into the next slate.
Week 4 is graded.
Now bring on Week 5. ππ
Be Bullish On What You Hold.
