🏈BuckBully Picks, Props & Parlays
Eight early games. Way too many betting options.
For the first NFL Sunday slate, BuckBully dug into injuries, quarterback situations, line play, scoring efficiency, matchup history and expected game scripts to find the spots that actually stand out.
We’re not trying to bet everything on the board.
We’re looking for value.
🐻 CHICAGO BEARS vs. CAROLINA PANTHERS 🐆
Chicago has the better overall roster and the more favorable matchup in the trenches.
Carolina’s tackle situation is the biggest concern. If Bryce Young starts seeing pressure off the edges, Chicago’s defense should get opportunities for sacks, short fields and at least one turnover.
Carolina’s defensive front is good enough that I don’t expect the Bears to simply run over them. That could put more of the offense in Caleb Williams’ hands.
Picks
Bears Moneyline
Player prop: Colston Loveland receiving Over
Longer-shot look: Loveland Anytime TD
🐦⬛ BALTIMORE RAVENS vs. INDIANAPOLIS COLTS 🐎
Baltimore has the quarterback advantage, but this isn’t an easy road favorite.
Jonathan Taylor gets a favorable opportunity against a Ravens interior missing Nnamdi Madubuike, while Derrick Henry and Lamar Jackson force Indianapolis to defend two completely different rushing threats.
That combination should eventually tilt the game toward Baltimore, but Indianapolis has enough ground game to keep it close.
Picks
Ravens Moneyline
Player prop: Jonathan Taylor rushing Over
Player prop: Lamar Jackson rushing Over
I’m avoiding Ravens -3.5. Baltimore winning by three wouldn’t surprise me at all.
🦅 ATLANTA FALCONS vs. PITTSBURGH STEELERS ⚫🟡
This is one of the strongest game-script plays of the early slate.
Atlanta is down to Cooper Rush at quarterback, which should mean heavy Bijan Robinson usage, short throws and an effort to keep Pittsburgh’s pass rush out of obvious passing situations.
Pittsburgh doesn’t need Aaron Rodgers throwing 40 times either.
That combination screams slow pace, field position and clock-killing drives.
🔥 Best Bet
Falcons-Steelers UNDER 44.5
Player prop: Bijan Robinson Anytime TD
Long shot: Kyle Pitts Anytime TD
This is my favorite total of the noon window.
🐶 CLEVELAND BROWNS vs. JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS 🐆
Jacksonville should eventually separate, but I’m more interested in how this game starts.
Deshaun Watson is returning after a long absence behind a rebuilt offensive line.
Trevor Lawrence didn’t take preseason snaps.
Week 1 offenses already tend to need a few possessions to settle down, and neither side has a reason to play recklessly early.
That makes the first-half number more appealing than Jacksonville laying a big full-game spread.
🔥 Pick
Browns-Jaguars 1H UNDER 22.5
Player prop lean: Trevor Lawrence passing Under
Long shot TD: Brenton Strange Anytime TD
🏴☠️ TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS vs. CINCINNATI BENGALS 🐅
This could be the highest-scoring early game.
Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase give Cincinnati the best offensive pairing on the field, but Tampa has enough firepower to keep this within one possession.
That’s why I like Cincinnati to win while still preferring Tampa with more than a field goal.
Pick
Buccaneers +4.5
Player prop: Bucky Irving Anytime TD
Sneaky prop: Baker Mayfield rushing Over
If this turns into a fourth-quarter shootout, +3.5 becomes very valuable.
✈️ NEW YORK JETS vs. TENNESSEE TITANS 🔵
This is the game I’m least interested in forcing.
Tennessee’s interior rush can create problems for Geno Smith without requiring heavy blitzing, while Cam Ward gets another season of development and a favorable home opener.
Robert Saleh facing his former team adds a little spice.
But this remains close to a coin flip.
Picks
Titans Moneyline — small play
Best prop: Geno Smith to throw an interception
Sneaky prop: Cam Ward 10+ rushing yards
Keep the wager smaller here.
⚜️ NEW ORLEANS SAINTS vs. DETROIT LIONS 🦁
This is one of the biggest situational gaps of the afternoon.
Detroit was dramatically more efficient in the red zone last season and averaged more than 30 points at home.
New Orleans struggled to finish drives, and now the Saints enter Detroit with Cameron Jordan out and Alvin Kamara carrying an injury concern.
At -7 I’d think harder.
At Detroit -5.5, I’m interested.
🔥 Picks
Detroit Lions -5.5
Player prop: Jahmyr Gibbs 80+ rushing yards
TD prop: Amon-Ra St. Brown Anytime TD
That -5.5 number is one of my favorite lines on the board.
🦬 BUFFALO BILLS vs. HOUSTON TEXANS 🤘
Here’s the upset alert.
Houston has shown it can make Josh Allen uncomfortable by generating pressure without selling out its coverage.
That is the key.
If the Texans can get home with four rushers, Allen has to extend plays while Houston still has defenders waiting downfield.
Buffalo may be the better offensive team overall.
Houston may simply be a bad matchup for them.
Picks
Texans +1.5
Moneyline sprinkle: Texans ML
Game prop: Under 44.5
Defensive prop look: Josh Allen 2+ sacks taken
🐂 BUCKBULLY TOP 3
After going through all eight games, these are the three bets I would build around.
🔥 Falcons-Steelers UNDER 44.5
Atlanta’s quarterback situation should force a conservative offense built around Bijan.
🔥 Browns-Jaguars 1H UNDER 22.5
Two offenses with legitimate reasons to start slowly.
🔥 Detroit Lions -5.5
Detroit’s home scoring advantage and red-zone efficiency create one of the cleaner matchup edges of the slate.
BuckBully Three-Piece 🍗
That’s my favorite parlay combination for the early games.
Three different matchups.
Three different betting angles.
No need to turn it into an eight-team moneyline monster.
🎯 FAVORITE PLAYER PROPS
Bucky Irving — Anytime TD
Cincinnati’s defense gives Tampa’s running backs opportunities both on the ground and through the passing game.
Jahmyr Gibbs — 80+ Rushing Yards
Detroit should be playing from ahead, creating exactly the type of second-half workload we want.
Jonathan Taylor — Rushing Over
Baltimore’s missing interior presence improves the matchup.
Amon-Ra St. Brown — Anytime TD
One of Detroit’s most trusted red-zone weapons.
Bijan Robinson — Anytime TD
Atlanta’s quarterback situation should push an enormous share of the offense toward Bijan.
Lamar Jackson — Rushing Over
Close game + important third downs = more Lamar scrambling opportunities.
Plus-Money Dart
Kyle Pitts Anytime TD
Atlanta may lean on its tight end around the goal line when Pittsburgh crowds the box against Bijan.
🎰 THE 8-LEG BUCKBULLY LOTTERY TICKET
This is the fun one.
Not the “I’m betting half my bankroll” ticket.
More like:
“Here’s five or ten bucks — let’s see what happens.”
8 Legs
1. Bears Moneyline
2. Ravens Moneyline
3. Falcons-Steelers UNDER 44.5
4. Browns-Jaguars 1H UNDER 22.5
5. Buccaneers +4.5
6. Titans Moneyline
7. Lions -5.5
8. Texans +1.5
Remember, this is a lottery ticket. Not a mortgage ticket. So don’t bet the house.
Every leg has an actual football argument behind it instead of randomly clicking green buttons until the payout says +90000. 😂
THE FINAL WORD
Sunday’s early slate doesn’t require eight bets.
My approach is simple:
Build around the spots where the matchup and the betting number agree.
For me, that’s:
🔥 Pittsburgh-Atlanta Under 44.5
🔥 Cleveland-Jacksonville 1H Under 22.5
🔥 Detroit -5.5

The ultimate 10-leg parlay could be interesting

Then sprinkle the props.
Because sometimes responsible football analysis needs just a tiny side order of nonsense.
